High Risk Polio Union Councils in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Dear WASH Partners,

Subject: FOUR DISTRICTS OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA DECLARED HIGH-RISK FOR POLIO PESHAWAR, NOWSHEHRA, MARDAN AND CHARSADDA

Attached please find herewith a copy of the matrix on the subject noted above for your information and submission.

Four districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar, Nowshehra, Mardan and Charsadda are declared high-risk for polio. Anti-polio campaign in the high-risk districts would be enhanced. Please note that polio cases are on the rise despite persistent anti-polio drives, which is a matter of serious concern.

WASH Cluster partners to explore the areas of possible cooperation, therefore, WASH partners engaged in these districts may please furnish the requisite information by Monday, 11 March, 2013 (12:00 hours) to me on ssjr2@yahoo.co.uk.
